FUN RUN / WINE

| Bill and Karen Neal
invited the roadster community to their home in Shed, Oregon for a day
of fun driving and socializing, including a BBQ and wine tasting.
This was an amazing day to say the least. The fun run was led by
Bill Cole in his very strong 1600. While I have owned and driven
three 2000's, I have never driven a 1600 and was amazed at the power
this car displayed during the 100 mile run through forested land and
along rivers and lakes. Seven roadsters took part in the fun run,
and 10 roadsters and a couple of other cars were present for the BBQ and
early evening social gathering.
This event is expected to be repeated in 2009. If the next BBQ/Wine tasting event is as fantastic as the first event was you won't want to miss it. The Neal's were wonderful hosts, and I thank them from the bottom of my heart for a wonderful day. Special thanks goes to Bill Neal and Bill Cole for their assistance when Mr. Hyde decided to act up, not once, but twice. Nothing major, but help and parts are greatly appreciated. 500 Pixel
